Information For Authors

'Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale' is an open access publication media. The journal is completely free of charge for both readers and authors. Neither processing charges nor submission charges will be required. Authors are warmly invited to follow the Authors guidelines. The list of the main journal topics is HERE. 

During the submission, it is possible to suggest one or more reviewers. Please, in the dedicated field, add the name, surname, email address, affiliation and nationality of each suggested reviewer.

During the submission process, choose one of the Thematic Section or a Special Issue Section (if invited). The "Thematic Sections" are:

1) Analytical, computational and physical Models
2) Damage mechanics
3) Environmentally assisted fracture
4) Failure Analysis and Forensic Engineering
5) Fatigue and Fracture of metallic alloys
6) Fatigue and Fracture of non-metallic materials
7) Integrity of materials and structures

Services x Authors

Papers publication: After the proofs acceptance (and the Visual Abstract uploading), the papers are immediately published. All the papers are collected in four annual issues (January, April, July and October).

Article Metrics: Each paper shows graphs for both abstract views and PDF downloads and has the option for a multiple-year graphical presentation.

Digital archiving
Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale has joined the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to preserve the journal for long-term access digitally.

Self-archiving (repository policy)
Authors are permitted to self-archive all the versions of the paper (submitted, accepted and published) at any time without any embargo period. We suggest the ESIS - Preprint Service platform (ESIS -PH).
